Over 350 pieces of art, from paintings to pencil, ceramic masks to pottery, city building landscapes, and even wire art graced the walls of the LHS auditorium foyer. It was the Tiger Art event, and Amber Douglas, one of the sponsors, and art teacher at Lexington High, said it just seems to get better every year. The reception was well attended, with a beautiful and delicious array of snacks, desserts, and refreshments, as parents and families strolled with their young artists and enjoyed the wonderful display.
