The weekend of April 20th – 22nd the ministries of From the Blind Outdoors and Hope Outdoors invited 19 hunters, to experience a spring turkey hunt.

To the dedicated hunter, spring brings a youthful excitement…turkey season. The feeling that comes with the beginning of the day, as the sun comes up and God’s creation welcomes its entrance, is hard to explain. When the mature tom, still on his roost, gives his morning call, our hearts beat faster. As he makes his way through the words, closing the distance, our eyes are fixed on his location. Seeing him display his God given beauty as he struts our way is a memory forever locked in our mind. However, the blessing and ability to go on a hunt, whenever we desire, is often taken for granted.
On the weekend of April 20th – 22nd, the ministries of From the Blind Outdoors and Hope Outdoors invited 19 hunters, all with different types of special needs, to experience a spring turkey hunt. From the Blind Outdoors is a ministry started by Tim Buffaloe, his wife Cindy and their two children, of Scotts Hill. They wanted to combine their love of hunting and fishing with their passion to serve Jesus Christ. Hope Outdoors focuses on taking those that the world says, “You can’t”, and making a way.
