First Baptist’s Mission Trip to Brazil

On March 16-23, 2018, the First Baptist Church of Lexington had a team of 40 individuals go on a mission trip to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil in cooperation with the Brazilian Baptist Home Mission Board (Missoes Nacionais). The mission team consisted of 20 students and 20 adult leaders and was led by Pastor, Dr. Clay Hallmark. The students who went on the trip are all a part of the Worship Arts and Evangelism ministry called Testify. This was the first trip to Brazil for 39 of the team members with Pastor Clay being the only team member who had previously been to Brazil.
