Early Voting Set for April 11 thru April 26

Administrator of Elections, Dan Miller, said that early voting for the May 1st primaries will be here soon.
Early voting will take place at the Henderson County Election Commission, located at 340 Natchez Trace Dr., also known as the Henderson County Multiplex or old Brown Shoe building, from Wednesday April 11th through Thursday April 26th. The hours for early voting are Monday, Wednesday, and Friday: 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. and Tuesday and Thursday (extended hours) from 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. Saturday hours (April 14th and April 28th) 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
Petitions are being handed out for the August 2, 2018 Elections. The Qualifying Deadline is Thursday April 5, 2018 at noon.
Also keep in mind that The Lexington Progress and WZLT-99.3 Radio will be hosting a public forum to meet the Primary candidates for County Mayor on April 9th at the Lexington High School Auditorium, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. The forum will also be broadcast live on Z99 for those who are unable to attend.
