The lobby of the Lexington High School building was transformed by LHS Beta Club members into the “Hometown Stardust Diner.” The theme for the 32nd Annual Chamber of Commerce Awards Dinner was “There’s No Place Like Home,” and any doubts of a tie-in between the Emerald City and Lexington were quickly dispelled by Miss Lexington, Caty Davis, as she sang a rendition of “Over the Rainbow” that would have brought down any house, theater, or witch’s castle.
