Softball: HCN 8th Graders Vital Part of Special Season

When the 2017 softball season started for Henderson County North’s Lady Tigers, Coach Blake Burke new the team was very special. He also knew the talent that his 8th grade class possessed was unprecedented. As it turned out he was correct. In the 4 years these ladies have been a part of the Henderson County North team, they have combined for 106 wins and 21 losses. The previous record for consecutive wins in a season was 24 in the fall of 2013. This years’ group has broken that record by winning 31 consecutive games and finishing off an outstanding season with a record of 35-1, along with 6 tournament championships!
