Once again, the Lexington Free Fair opened to delightful crowds. Some of the rides had already parked on the lower and upper areas by Wednesday, September 6th. The volunteer organizations that sponsor the cooking areas were cleaning up, cleaning out, and getting ready for that week that consumes all their attention, but leaves them in a position to help others for another year.
