The Scotts Hill Lions made it to the Quarterfinals of the TSSAA 2A State Playoff last year. From that team, they lost the all-time leading rusher in school history, Kobe Rogers, the all time tackling leader, Drake Thompson, a four-year offensive line starter, Austin Branham, the all time leading receiver, Evan Russell, the most accurate passer in school history, Cody Carter and their second head coach in school history Michael Stroup.
