BREAKING — Around 12:14 p.m., on Friday, July 28th, the Henderson County Sheriff’s Department and EMS responded to a shooting in the 2800 block of New Flanagan Road, south of the Juno Community.  The road is narrow, and traffic pulled as close to the side as possible to allow emergency and law enforcement vehicles to the scene.  In the area near the home, one person reported that they had heard a “pop-pop” from the residence.  Sheriff Brian Duke said one person was transported from the area by EMS to hospital services in Jackson, Tennessee.  The alleged shooter, according to Duke, had driven to the Criminal Justice Center and surrendered to authorities.
