Wednesday Wreck at Yuma Road and Old Exchange Road

Around 1:40 p.m., on Wednesday, July 26th, EMS and the Henderson County Rescue Squad responded to a one vehicle accident on Yuma Road, near the intersection of Old Exchange Road.  The Rescue Squad was able to help the driver exit the vehicle, while the Henderson County Sheriff’s Department and the Tennessee Highway Patrol secured the road to direct traffic.  EMS treated the driver at the scene, and there were no serious injuries.  The vehicle lost control on the right side of the road, slipping into a deep ditch, and coming to rest against a culvert.
