Preparing for Back to School During Tennessee’s Sales Tax Holiday Weekend

Who doesn’t love a holiday? And one of our favorites in Tennessee is the annual sales tax holiday. It will begin at 12:01 a.m. on Friday, July 28th, and end at 11:59 p.m. the following Sunday night, July 30th. What is tax free? Generally clothing, school supplies, and computers, within certain limits. The full list can be found at www.tntaxholiday.com . Below is a handy guide for you.
Clothing, $100.00 or less:
