Lexington City Board of Education Begins Search for New Director

The Board of Education for the Lexington City Schools System met before a full house Tuesday evening, July 18th. Housekeeping items were addressed in preparation for the new school year, with registration to begin August 1st, and the first day of class scheduled for August 3rd. The next two parts of the meeting were devoted to discussing the procedure in hiring an interim director and selection process in filling the position with a full-time director.
