Around 11:46 a.m., Monday, July 17th, the Henderson County Rescue Squad, Sheriff’s Department, EMS, THP, and Henderson County Fire Department responded to a one vehicle accident on Highway 104 North, across from Russell Lane. Residents near the accident said that the silver extended cab Sierra pickup rode along the embankment, rolled off, and landed on its top, temporarily trapping the female driver and her daughter. The Rescue Squad extricated the pair, who were transported to the hospital. The extent of the injuries are not known at this time.
