First Friday Night on the Square
Crowds enjoyed music and more at the second First Friday Night event in Lexington.

Lexington enjoyed another First Friday night around the square on July 7th. Free entertainment was provided for the evening by The Core Band, with Whitney Johnson Wilson, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Many brought lawn chairs to enjoy the music on the square, others caught a movie at The Princess, while still others enjoyed sidewalk sales and shopping. Street vendors offered refreshments and scavenger hunts provided entertainment for the more energetic enthusiasts.
