Schrader Races at Lexington 104 Track

The Lexington 104 Speedway was the next location in the USCS Firecracker 100. Ken Schrader, professional race car driver, was entered in the dirt car race. I had the opportunity to talk to Schrader himself before the race started.
I asked Schrader how he had gotten into racing and he explained that he had started racing in 1979 by helping at small tracks in St. Louis when he was 16 years old. From there he said that he worked his way up until he made it to NASCAR. He had raced with NASCAR for what he said to be about 30 years before deciding to have fun with dirt car racing.
