Lexington City School Board Meets

The board for the Lexington City Schools System met at 6:30 p.m., on Tuesday, June 20th. The city made repairs in June outside of the Board office on Monroe, where a sink hole had emerged from a breach in the sewage pipe. Director of Schools, Susan Bunch also said that Police Chief Roger Loftin and Captain Middleton had applied for a COPS grant that would fund the 2nd resource officer position.
