Alexander and Mitchell Receive All-State Honors

Melanie Alexander was selected to the 2017 Tennessee All-State Team this past month. Caitlin Mitchell was selected as Miss Softball Pitcher of the Year for West Tennessee. Melanie Alexander led the team this past season in batting average, .483, at bats, 116, and triples, with three. Caitlin Mitchell had a record setting year in 2017 inside the circle. She pitched 171 and two third innings. She had 119 strikeouts, which is a single season school record, and only 56 earned runs. Coach Tyler Sowell was extremely proud of both…
