Memorial Day Services



Lt. Commander Jeff Roney will be the special guest speaker at the Memorial Day service at the Henderson County Courthouse on Monday, May 29.

There will be two opportunities for Memorial Day, May 29th.  At Lexington, the traditional ceremonies will begin at noon at the Henderson County Courthouse.  The special guest speaker for the event will be Lieutenant Commander Jeff Roney.   Roney enlisted in the Navy June 1988 and retired in December 2013.  His personal awards include the Meritorious Service Medal, Navy Commendation Medal with three Gold Stars, Navy Achievement medal with two Gold Stars and one Silver Star and the Military Volunteer Service Medal.      He retired from active duty. Roney is currently a member of the American Legion Post 77, VFW Post 1294, and is currently a licensed Realtor with RE/MAX Unlimited Lexington, TN.
