11th Annual Folk Festival

Fabulous cars, folk music, fine arts and crafts, equaled fun once again for the whole family at the 11th Annual Henderson County Folk Festival.  The event is sponsored by Lexington’s Post 77 of the American Legion, with Commander Hobert Powers as the Master of Ceremonies.  Rhonda Davidson and the Ladies Auxiliary were everywhere, helping with booths, cooking burgers, and manning tents.   Danny Frizzell gave the invocation and American Legion Post 243, Scotts Hill, served as the honor guard to post the colors.   The sound system was set up and monitored by David McCurry, and prizes were distributed between singing…
