Esophageal Cancer is a disease in which malignant cells form in the tissues of the esophagus. The esophagus is a muscular tube that moves food and liquids from the throat to the stomach. I have experienced this disease. It all started in my teenage years. I would regurgitate nightly, but I didn’t know why. After many years, I finally saw a Gastroenterologist that diagnosed me with GERD. At the age 32, he conveyed to me that this would eventually turn into Esophageal Cancer.
