Lady Tigers Softball Take Runner-Up Spot

Lexington’s Lady Tigers set a team record in 2017 that will most likely last for many years to come. The record is consecutive wins in a season. The old record for Lexington was 18 and the state record is 39. This team shattered the old team mark and won 31 consecutive games to start the season. After win number 31 was secured with a walk-off homerun by Abbie Nowell in the semi-final game of the TSCA tournament Saturday, Lexington’s streak ended in the championship game. Now, the Lady Tigers are ready to focus on putting together another win streak that will hopefully land them…
