County Commission Meets

After the commission was called to order, a seventh grader from Bargerton School approached the front and began speaking in clear and professional demeanor on the long tradition, and recent controversy, of standing during the national anthem. John James, son of Commissioner Jeff James and wife Candida, delivered the speech that won the recent county speech contest. The commission, and those there present, rose in applause at the touching address.
