$350,100 Check Presented To Henderson County Community

Henderson County was one of two counties honored with a check presentation by the Department of Economic and Community Development on Friday, April 7th.  Teresa Jones, the Director of Economic Recruiting, shared the news release below.

News Release:
            Commissioner Bob Rolfe presented the $350,100 check for improvements to the Timberlake Industrial Site, which is part of the Tennessee Site Development Grant Program.  Commissioner Rolf stated, “We are proud to see these communities investing in themselves and anticipate seeing each community thrive in our state.”   Those present to receive the check were Henderson County Mayor Dan Hughes, Mayor David Jowers from the City of Lexington, Mayor Don Buckingham from the City of Scotts Hill, Bobby Dyer, Chairman of the Lexington Industrial Development Board, and Teresa Jones, Executive Director of the…
