Scotts Hill City Board Meets

 

 

Officer Richard Stanfill Jr. was recognized by the board and mayor during the recent meeting. Stanfill was selected by the state as Constable of the Year.

Mayor Don Buckingham and the Scotts Hill Board of Aldermen met Monday night, April 3rd, at 6:00 p.m.   Constable Richard Stanfill Jr. was called forward to accept a plaque and a flag on being selected as the State’s Constable of the Year.  The flag was distinguished by having been flown over the capital.  Officer Stanfill, as well as several of the people present, were overwhelmed with emotion, as Stanfill’s father offered his congratulations as well.  The entire room gave…
