Lions On Two Game Skid Early In Season

The Lions revenged their loss, last Monday, to Riverside in dramatic fashion the following day. The Lions fell behind one to nothing in the first inning and fell behind two to nothing after the third inning of play. The Lions were finally able to get a run across in the fifth inning. Charlie Lowry led off the fifth inning with a walk, and was later brought in by a fielder’s choice. At the end of five innings, the Lions were down one run to their rivals, Riverside.
