Lexington Utility Boards Meet
The utility boards for the city of Lexington met on Tuesday night, March 28th. Chuck Rowsey presented for both the Gas and Water departments. He requested an approval of the February write-offs, which totaled $2,235.26. This included gas, water, sewer and garbage. The write-offs were approved. For the Water Department, Rowsey said that the tank for the process transfer from chlorine gas to liquid bleach was on the schedule to be in, and that bids were extended for the water tank project.
