Neighbors And Friends On And Off The Field

When Lexington and Huntingdon met in the title game of the Sarah Beth Tournament Saturday night, it was more like a family reunion. The two bordering county schools met on the field for the first time since 2015, but the bond and similarities between the two schools is interesting. Due to travel ball, several of the players are friends and Lexington’s Abbie Nowell, Meghan Maness, and Huntingdon’s Cheyenne Childress will all be playing ball together next year at Blue Mountain College.
