WWII Plans For Henderson County?

Rick Taylor is researching deeds and records to help put together an application for a Century Farm.  As our courthouse burned in 1864 and 1887, then he’s also been looking at deeds for adjoining properties.    His farm is located north of Huron, Tennessee, and has been in his family for several generations.    He brought an interesting set of deeds by The Lexington Progress last week.  The first showed a 1918 deed for 198 acres, to I.K. Pope and wife, Bertha, for $200.00.  The next was the same parcel, being sold for $6,550.00 to R.E. and Bess Russell in 1944.    The grantor is the Tennessee Defense Relocation…
