Lexington Board of Education Meets
The Lexington City School Board met Tuesday night, February 28th for about a two-hour session. Much of the time was spent on adopting policies by the Tennessee School Board Association. Director of Schools, Susan Bunch, reminded the board that, “We had nearly all of these policies before, but our policy manual was ‘streamlined’ by the TSBA about 4 years ago.” During the recent review, the TSBA found that they had streamlined the policies in error, and the board had passed the ones essential to the review, and now are going through the others as the Policy Committee recommends them.
