Black History Month Closes with Two Events

 

 

Black History Month events were held at the Lexington Senior Citizens Center and the Montgomery Cultural and Enrichment Center.

Black History Month was closed out in Henderson County with two wonderful speaking opportunities.   Friday, February 24th, Gloria Carver spoke to the Senior Citizens Center.  There were nods and smiles as she reminisced about farms, businesses, and educators and of the wonderful work done renovating Montgomery School.   Montgomery High was the regional high school for several counties in West Tennessee, and also housed 1st through 3rd Grade.  A lot of hard work, donations, and…
