Tigers Fall To Fayette Ware In Semifinals

Lexington had to wait a couple of extra days before making their first appearance in the post season. Fayette Ware had a player ruled ineligible on the eve of the post season, which caused a shakeup in the district seeding. As a result, South Side became the top seed, followed by Lexington taking the two seed. Fayette Ware had to forfeit all of its district wins and dropped all the way to the 6th seed. The change in seeding gave Lexington a 1st round bye and an automatic bid to the region tournament. Fayette Ware had to travel to Bolivar for the 1st round of the district tournament.
