The Lady Lions, coming off a big win over Adamsville, looked to take out second seeded Middleton. The Lady Lions looked sluggish, but their defense was superb. The Lady Lions defense kept the score, of a state semifinal team from a year ago, relatively low through the first half. The Lady Lions got eight points on the board and only trailed by three after the first quarter. Both teams’ offenses came alive in the second quarter though.
