Prayer Vigil Held for Warner Wood

Friends of young Warner Wood signed his ‘get well’ card before moving into the sanctuary for the prayer vigil.

A table, graced with the portrait of a brave young man, was placed in the narthex of Second Baptist Church. A little wooden church was near the portrait, and lying before them was a colorful guest register and an extra ‘get well’ card. Beyond the door, as people filed by to gaze lovingly at the portrait and to sign the card, others knelt or sat in meditative prayer vigil for Warner Wood.
