Lady Tigers Lose 2nd Straight at Riverside

After winning 7 out of their first 10 games, the Lady Tigers lost two in a row in their last two games, with losses to Hardin County and Riverside. The two-loss skid is rare for the Lady Tigers who have had three consecutive 20 win seasons. Last Friday, Lexington lost to Hardin County and last Tuesday the Lady Tigers had a 5-point lead but couldn’t secure the win, losing 40-32. Over the past three seasons, the Lady Tigers have rarely lost back to back games and will be using the final three games of 2016 to get back on the right track. Lexington is participating in the Hub City Classic at Oman Arena this week and will be playing three games to round out the 2016 portion of the season. The Lady Tigers played North Side yesterday and will be taking on TCA or Obion County today. The final game of the classic for Lexington will be tomorrow against a team that is yet to be determined. After the post-Christmas tournament, the Lady Tigers will have a week off before cranking up the district schedule in January. Lexington’s first game of the New Year will be…
