Demolition began late Wednesday evening, December 21, on the old Holcomb-Porter building, which occupies the corner of Wilson Street and Natchez Trace Drive.  Tennessee Data Assessment Records indicate that the building was erected around 1930, and was for many years the site of the Holcomb-Porter warehouse and distribution center. Years later it was acquired by Decaturville Sportwear, and employed several in the garment industry.  The 1.1 acre lot was acquired on…
