New York Times Best-Selling Author Speaks at Lexington High School

New York Times Best-Selling Author, Ruta Sepetys, spoke to two audiences at Lexington High School, Tuesday, December 13th.
The first appearance was at 8:00 a.m., in the gym, with a second appearance at 12:15 p.m. in the auditorium.
Lexington High School instructor, Mary Woodall, introduced Sepetys to a packed gymnasium. “This is the second time we have had the privilege of having Ruta Sepetys as a guest,” Woodall said. Sepetys, with a beautiful, rolling voice, told students that, “I thought I was done with all my tours, till I saw the request from my friends at Lexington!”. Her first book, “Between the Shades of Gray,” is about a fifteen-year-old girl whose life and family take a tragic turn as Soviet officers…
