Lady Tiger Basketball Team Victorious Over Lady Lions

Lexington traveled to Scotts Hill, last Friday, and the two Henderson County teams played in front of a capacity crowd. The Lady Tigers and the Lady Lions fought hard for 4 quarters and traded the lead 8 times, before Lexington emerged with a 38-27 win. Both teams struggled from the field and had a tough time finding its offense. The Lady Tigers did a great job taking care of the ball, with only 7 turnovers in the game. As is the case most of the time in a tight ball game, the game was won at the free throw line. Lexington was 11 of 18 at the charity stripe, while Scotts Hill was an uncharacteristic 1 of 9.
