Goff Alignment Coordinates Relief Effort for East Tennessee

Friday, December 2nd, was a hive of activity around Goff Alignment on Hwy. 412 West, as relief items for East Tennessee families continued to pour in until about 5:00 o’clock that evening.    “It turned into a much bigger project than I imagined,” Josh Goff said in disbelief. “The turnout was just amazing,” putting down his phone from yet another caller wanting to assist.    While the resort area in the eastern third of the state was engulfed by wild fires, and families rushed from their homes in emergency evacuations, Goff began his own project to assist that turned into a wild fire of activity.   “We were in that area the first week of October,” said Goff, “and I still had ‘alerts’ set on my phone.  I heard the…
