Fish Fry - St. Paul Baptist Church will be having a fish fry Saturday July 26th from 11:00 until 3 p.m. The plates include fish, slaw, hushpuppies, and white beans. A $6.00 donation. SUNDAY - July 27, 2008

Parkers Crossroads Battlefield Activities - Civil War history buffs are invited to gather at the Parkers Crossroads Battlefield Visitors’ Center on Sunday, from noon until 3 p.m.
During that time, visitors will be entertained watching Civil War re-enactors present military demonstrations. Historian Dr. Lonnie Maness will be available to answer questions about the Battle of Parkers Crossroads and sign his latest book, “Lightning Warfare: Forrest’s First West Tennessee Campaign” – December 1862”. Visitors also will be able to view relics recovered from the battlefield.
The Parkers Crossroads Visitors’ Center is located ½ mile south of I-40 at 20650 Hwy 22 N. For more information call 731-968-1191.

Retired Teachers Plan Memorial Ceremony - The Henderson County Retired Teachers’ Association will hold a memorial service for Mrs. Willie Mae Wilson and Mr. Billy Crockett at the First Bank Community Room at 200 N. Main at 2 p.m. on Sunday, July 27, 2008.
All former students and friends are invited to attend.
