WOODROW W. BRUNDIGE
Funeral services for Woodrow W. Brundige were Sunday, July 20, 2008 at First Baptist Church in Martin. Burial followed in East Side Cemetery, Martin, Tennessee.
Mr. Brundige, age 95, died Thursday, July 17, 2008 at Volunteer Community Hospital in Martin. He was preceded in death by one son, Jerry Dean Brundige and a daughter, Shirley Philbrick; five Brothers, E. J. Brundige, H. C. Brundige, Ruban Brundige, Harold Brundige, Carnel Brundige; one sister, Zula McWherter.
Survivors include his wife Allie Burpo Brundige, Martin; two sons, Joe W. Brundige, and Woody L. Brundige both of South Fulton, Tennessee; one daughter, Shelby Denison, Lexington, Tennessee.

RUBY WILLIAMS RUCKER
Services for Ruby Williams Rucker will be held at Memphis Memorial. She passed away Sunday, July 20 in Missouri.
Mrs. Rucker was born in Memphis, Tennessee on May 21, 1921. She moved to Lexington in 1947 and worked for Dr. Conger for 17 years and then moved to Savannah, Tennessee. She later moved to Pulaski where she retired at the age of 62. Later, in her 80’s, she moved to a nuirsing home in Missouri.
She leaves two daughters, Nina Scott of Scotts hill and Sandra Miller of Chillowee, MO; 9 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren. pd.

JEWELL F. HAMM
Funeral services for Jewell F. Hamm were Sunday, July 20, 2008 at Parsons Mortuary Chapel with burial in Duke’s Cemetery.
Ms. Hamm, age 73, died July 18, 2008 at Decatur County General Hospital.
She is survived by two sisters, Minnie Todd, St. Louis, MO and Sarah Hamm, Decaturville.

JIMMY N. ESSARY
Funeral services for Jimmy N. Essary Sunday, July 20, 2008 at Parsons Mortuary Chapel. Burial followed in Bear Creek Cemetery.
Mr. Essary is survived by his mother, Mammie D. Essary, Jacks Creek; his wife Peggy Teague Essary, Parsons; one step-daughter, Jana Goodman Heroux, Parsons; two brothers, Johnny Essary, Lexington and Jeff Essary, Reagan; one sister, Carolyn Henderson, Lexington; two step-grandchildren. Mr. Essary was preceded in death by his father, Auvie Essary.

Irene Gateley
Irene Gateley, age 85, died July 22, 2008 at the Huntingdon, Rehab Center. Services will be Thursday at 2:00 p.m. at Reed’s Chapel. Burial will be at Pleasant Hill Cemetery. She is preceded in death by husband, Leon Gateley.
She is survived by one daughter Betty Price of Cedar Grove; two sons, Thomas Gateley of Cedar Grove and Larry Gateley of Huron, Tennessee; six grandchildren, fourteen grandchildren; Visitation will be Thursday 9 a.m. till service.

HENRY EDGAR BUTTERS, II
Henry Edgar Butters, II died Tuesday, July 15, 2008 at Henderson County Community Hospital, Lexington, TN.
He was born in Exeter, Maine, on March 7, 1924, the son of Annie Jeanette (nee Buswell) and Jerauld Wellington Butters. He was a graduate of Corinna Union Academy in Corinna, ME and the University of Maine at Orono, ME. He received his Masters Degree in Poultry Nutrition at Purdue University in Lafayette, Indiana. Mr. Butters was a Veteran of WWII, having served in the U.S. Army, overseas, at the Battle of the Bulge. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Post#1294, Lexington, TN. He was employed by Allied Mills Research Div., Libertyville, IL; The Norwich Pharmacal Co. in Norwich, NY, and the Jackson Sun Newspaper in his retirement years.
He leaves his wife, Mary Jean (nee Litterst) of Wildersville, TN, a daughter, Mary Beth Edmiston (Dr. Joseph) of Hendersonville, two sons, Matthew Wade (Debra) of Wildersville and Malcolm Andrew of Milford, Mass., a sister, Muriel Micue of Corinna, ME, two grandsons, Joshua Lee Edmiston and Mark Andrew Butters, three step-granddaughters, Amanda (Brad) Gordon, Jennifer Camper, and Jing Jing Chen, one step great granddaughter, Ryann Gordon, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by one son, Mark Wellington Butters.
Funeral services were at the First United Methodist Church of Lexington, TN on Friday, at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Paul Phillips and Rev. Stan McDaniel officiating.
Burial followed in Lakeside Cemetery, Libertyville, IL. Memorials may be made to the First United Methodist Church, Lexington, TN or The Everett Horn Library.

Mrs. Hays, age 55, died July 9 at Jackson Madison County Hospital.
She is survived by her husband, Wayne Hays of Parsons; 4 daughters, Christine Kaye Stack of Lexington, Mary April Powers of Parsons, Donna Marie Powers of Scotts Hill, and Rebecca Danielle Hays of Darden; 3 sisters, Shirley Darlene Hubbard of Mickie, TN, Kathy Gearldine McCoy of NC, and Debrah Ann Johnson of Memphis; and 8 grandchildren.

BOBBY BAWCUM
Funeral services for Bobby Bawcum, age 71, were held Saturday at Parsons Mortuary Chapel. Interment followed at Wesson Chapel Cemetery.
Mr. Bawcum died July 9 at Jackson Madison Co. General Hosptial.
He is survived by his wife, Laverne Oxford Bawcum of Beech Bluff; and a brother, Tom Bawcum of Franklin.

RUBY HELEN BURTON
Funeral services for Ruby Helen Burton, age 84, were held Monday, July 14 in the chapel of Taylor Funeral Home. Burial followed at Lexington City Cemetery.
Mrs. Burton died Friday, July 11 at the Centennial Medical Center in Nashville. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Riley Burton.
Survivors include her son, Pastor Mike Burton of Kingston Springs, TN; and 3 grandchildren.

FRANKIE J. MATHIS
Services for Frankie J. Mathis were held July 13 at Parsons Mortuary Chapel. Interment followed at Sardis Ridge Cemetery.
Mrs. Mathis, age 66, died July 10 at her home. She was preceded in death by her husband, Murphy Mathis.
Survivors include two sisters, Mary Lee Barnwell of North Carolina and Ruth Duke of Columbia, Tennessee.

EUAL (BUCKLES) MOONEY
Eual Edward Mooney of Reagan, age 81, died July 13, 2008 at his home.
He was born in Adamsville, TN the son of the late Coy and Rena Flatt Mooney. He lived in Lake County as a young man and attended schools there. He was married to Mary Elizabeth Climer on June 28, 1947 and they made their home in Henderson County. Mr. Mooney was a truck driver for B&W Trucking, retiring in 1995.
He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Climer Mooney; three daughters, Joyce Wade (Harold) of Reagan, Carol Pruett of Lexington and Peggy Jennings of Reagan; two sons, Mickel Mooney (Marilyn) of Reagan and Allen Mooney (Linda) of Huron; ten grandchildren, Bucky and Dennis Wade, Lynn and Glynn Mooney, Misty Moore, Chris and Mark Pruett, Justin Bailey, April Goff and Jason Mooney and twenty three great grandchildren; six sisters, Reba Bradley, Ilean Turner, Nell Taylor, Patricia Cowan, Barbara Mosier and Nancy Barrett; two brothers, David Joe Mooney and Odell Mooney.
He was preceded in death by a son, Ed Neal Mooney in 1948, a sister Ruby Bonnin, and two brothers Richard and James Earl Mooney.

STELLA J. MILLER
Services for Stella J. Miller were held Sunday, July 13 at Parsons Mortuary Chapel. Interment followed at Oak Grove Cemetery.
Mrs. Miller, age 84, died July 12 at Decatur County Hospital. She was preceded in death by her husband, O. T. Miller.
Survivors include a son, Bruce Miller of Camden; a daughter, Janet Myracle of Parsons; and 4 grandchildren.

STEPHEN F. FIECHTL
Funeral services for Stephen F. Fiechtl, age 61, are scheduled for 10:00 a.m., Friday, July 18, 2008 at St. Andrew Catholic Church in Lexington with Rev. James L. Pugh officiating. Burial will follow in Henderson County Memory Gardens. Pafford Funeral Home in Lexington is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Fiechtl died July 14, 2008 at home. He was born Ocotober 10, 1946 in Quincy, Illinois, to the late Joseph Francis and Arlene Pinkelman Fiechtl. Steve was an employee at Manufacturers Industrial Group. Steve enjoyed sharing his barbeque with family, friends, and neighbors, and loved gardening.
Survivors include his wife of 39 years, Mrs. Mary Alyce Hartman Fiechtl of Lexington, his four children, two daughters-in-law, and a son-in-law, Joseph Francis and Crystal Fiechtl of Kingsport, TN, Dr. James Francis and Rebecca Fiechtl of Nashville, TN, Justin and Dr. Jessica Frances Fiechtl Olewnik of Abingdon, MD, and Jennifer Frances Fiechtl of Charleston, SC,: five grandchildren, Hannah Renee Fiechtl, William Francis Fiechtl, Patrick Charles Fiechtl, Isabelle Erin Fiechtl, and Nathan Francis Fiechtl; six sisters, Bette Sexton of Oklahoma City, OK, Kathy McCombs of Lake Forest, IL, Nancy Fiechtl of Pittsfield, IL, Barbara Fiechtl of Logan, UT, Mary Jo Gillmann of LaSalle, IL, and Ann Cardonne of San Antonio, TX, six nieces, and seven nephews. Mabel Louise Reeves Allen
Funeral services were held for Mabel Louise Reeves Allen at Brownsville Funeral Home Chapel Friday, July 11. Interment followed in Brownsville Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Allen of Blue Goose, age 78, passed away in Lexington Manor, Lexington, Tennessee, Wednesday, July 9, 2008.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jessie Allen; two sons, Jessie Monroe Allen and Bobby Wayne Allen.
Mrs. Allen is survived by two sons, David Earl Allen and Jerry Willard Allen both of Huron, TN; two daughters, Becky Usery of Blue Goose, TN and Diane Hendrix of Brownsville, TN; one sister, Doshey Mae Duke of Hopkinsville, KY; fourteen grandchildren; and twenty-two great-grandchildren.

TRULA OWENS GURLEY
Funeral services for Mrs. Trula Owens Gurley, age 86, were held Friday, July 11 in the chapel of Pafford Funeral Home. Burial followed in Antioch Cemetery.
Mrs. Gurley died Wednesday in Jackson. She was born November 22, 1921 in Henderson County to the late Jim and Clossie Franklin Owens. She was a retired secretary for Richardson Insurance Agency and a member of Center Ridge United Methodist Church.
Mrs. Gurley was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. John H. Gurley; four brothers; and eight sisters.
Survivors include her twenty-one nieces and nephews. pd.

ART AUSTIN
Funeral services for Mr. Art Austin are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 16, 2008 in the chapel of Pafford Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Lexington Cemetery.
Mr. Austin died late Monday at his home. He was born March 15, 1929 in St. Louis, MO. He was a retired carpenter for Allen Construction, a Korean War Veteran, serving in the Navy. Mr. Austin was preceded in death by his wife, Mrs. Virginia Austin.
Survivors include his daughter, Earline Hall of Lexington one grandson.

KITTY LUCILLE BRITT

Mrs. Britt, age 77, died Monday, July 14, 2008 Huntingdon Health and Rehab.

Ms. Powers, age 92, died Tuesday, July 2 at Lexington Manor.
She is survived by her son, Gerald Powers of Fenton, Missouri; a sister, Herschel Smith of Nashville; 1 grandchild; and 2 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services for Mrs. Zenobia Pettigrew, age 78, of Parsons will be conducted Saturday, July 12, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. at the Temple Church of God in Christ. Interment will follow in Pettigrew Cemetery.
Mrs. Pettigrew was preceded in death by her husband, James Lewis Pettigrew; two sons, Robert Pettigrew, James “Swamp” Pettigrew.
She is survived by one son, Donald Pettigrew, NC; three daughters, Pamela Arnold, Lexington, Victoria Robison, Parsons, Prudence Boulette, Lexington; one sister; one brother; fifteen grandchildren; twenty nine great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter.
Visitation with the family will be Friday from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 and resume Saturday at the church from 9:00 a.m. until service.

Graveside services for Mrs. Frances Knight Buck, age 92, are scheduled for Saturday July 12, 2008 at Mt. Gilead Cemetery in Shady Hill with friends and family officiating. Mrs. Buck, the widow of Adrian Odell Buck, died in Nashville on Thursday, June 26, 2008. She was retired from the State of Tennessee, where she worked in the Comptroller’s office. She was a lifelong member of the First Baptist Church of Nashville. In her spare time, she enjoyed teaching the English Language to foreign students and was active in the Republican Women of Tennessee.
Survivors include her two nephews, Don Bell of Baton Rouge, LA and Caleb Bell of Thompson Station, two cousins, Suzanne Magee of Dallas, TX and Roy Lynn Gurley of Lexington, and a close friend, Mr. & Mrs. Robert L. Baker of Nashville. Funeral services for Mrs. Ernesteen Rushing Sego, age 54, are scheduled for 11:00 a.m., Thursday, July 3, 2008 in the chapel of Pafford Funeral Home with Bro. Gerald McDaniel officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Moriah Cemetery.
Mrs. Sego died late Monday in Jackson. She was a retired beautician. Mrs. Sego was preceded in death by one sister, Norma Blankenship and one brother, James Ernest Stanfill.
Survivors include her husband, Mr. Allen Sego, her mother, Mrs. Catherene Stanfill, both of Lexington, one daughter, Delyla Towater of Cedar Grove, two sisters, Brenda Johnson and Shelia Vestal both of Lexington, and one grandson, Justin Nichols.

REV. HARRY E.
BURKE, SR
Rev. Harry E. Burke, Sr., 92, of Lexington passed away Friday, June 27th, 2008 at Westwood Healthcare Center in Decaturville.
Rev. Burke was the son of the late Robert and Josie (Lowrance) Burke. He was the husband of Thelma (Autry) Burke who survives him.
Other survivors include: a daughter, Suzanne (Tony) Johnson of Bartlett; five sons Harry E. (Claudia) Burke, Jr. of Lexington, Jerry (Barbara) Burke of Tupelo, MS., Bill (Cookie) Burke of Lexington, Tom (Beth) Burke of Lexington, Ed (Jamie) Burke of Lexington; two step sons Jimmy (Mary Ann) Anderson of GA., John Allen (Ann) Anderson of Lexington; a step son-in-law, Tommy Fesmire of Linden. She was preceded in death by her mother, Zana Lou Griggs Maness.

MILDRED I. WILLIS
A graveside service for Mildred I. Willis of Dyersburg, age 85, will be held Wednesday, July 2 at Fairview Cemetery in Dyersburg.
Mrs. Willis died Monday, June 30 at Dyersburg Regional Medical Center. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Ray Surratt and Marvin Willis; and a son, Donald Surratt.
She is survived by a daughter, Linda Taylor of Jackson; 1 grandchild; and 1 great-grandchild.

Mr. Joe E. Houston, 68, of Trumann, AR, died Saturday, May 17, 2008 at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro. He was born in Parsons, TN and had lived in Trumann, AR., for the past 1½ years. He was a retired cutting room supervisor for Salant & Salant, an avid outdoorsman and of the Baptist faith. Mr. Houston was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Martha Knight Houston, two sisters and four brothers.
Survivors include his wife, Caroline Houston of the home, two daughters, Susy Houston of Parsons, TN., and Amy Karrigan of Allen, TX.; one stepson, Kevin Watkins of Trumann; three sisters, Georgia Mae Woods of Maywood, Ill., Lucille Kindle of Parsons, Tenn., and Patsy Reeves of Darden, Tenn., and two granddaughters, Madison Karrigan and McKenna Karrigan and two step-grandsons, Tyler Watkins and Daniel Watkins

Jean worked many years alongside her husband, David Lee, in an extensive farming operation on their property in the Rock Hill Community. She was a member of Rock Hill Baptist Church, where she remained very active as long as her health permitted. Carolyn Jones Branham was born December 6, 1938, is the daughter of the late Eugene Haskell and Doris Hunter Jones
She was united in marriage to Walter Ed Branham. Mr. Branham preceded her in death on December 2, 2007.
Mrs. Branham departed this life on May 16, 2008 in Jackson, Tennessee at the age of 69 Years, 5 Months, 10 Days.
Services were held on May 19, 2008 at 7:30 PM at Luray Baptist Church in Luray, Tennessee, with Bro. Clint Burkhead officiating. Burial followed in the Mifflin Cemetery at Mifflin, Tennessee at a later date
She is survived by a daughter, Bridget Rene Reinmann and husband Jay of Luray, TN; a son, Walter Eddie Branham Jr.and wife Renee of Luray, TN; five grandchildren, Kyle Joseph of Valdez, AK, Austin Branham, McKenna Reinmann, Shane Phillips and Dexter Phillips all of Luray.

Graveside funeral services for James Wilson Adcock, age 80, of Scotts Hill, will be Thursday May 1, 2008 at Highland Memorial Gardens in Jackson with Rev. Steve Callicoatt officiating. Mr. Adcock died Monday in Jackson. He was a retired bookkeeper for US Forestry Service in Sewanee and retired from ITT in Milan and a member of Northside Baptist Church in Milan.

He was preceded in death by his parents William H. and Lillian Adcock and a nephew John Michael.He was a loving brother and uncle. THOMAS E. THOMPSON
Thomas E. Thompson of Collierville, TN was invited to heaven on April 9, 2008 after a courageous battle with lung cancer. He served in the U.S. Navy during wartime and was a retired policeman. He worked for Exxon for many years as the “Safety Man” until the Valdeese Disaster. He later became owner/operator of Extell in Collierville, TN up until the time of his illness.
Mr. Thompson was preceded in death by his parents, Anderson and Lilly Thompson of Whiteville, TN and one granddaughter, Whitney Elizabeth Thompson of Lexington.
Survivors include his wife of 42 years, Elizabeth Ann Thompson; four loving daughters, Angela Michelle Thompson, Caroline Elaine Thompson and boyfriend David Brian Edgin, Lisa Diane Patton and husband Charles Patton, and Tammy Jean Rich and husband Chip Rich; one son, Thomas Eugene Thompson, II; six grandchildren, Michael Baker, Peyton Dee Edgin, Christina Marie Pergo, Victoria Page Thompson Reel, Shelby Elise Patton, and Sydney Reese Patton; and four siblings.

JOHN DAVID GOODMAN
John David Goodman was born in Corinth, Mississippi on October 31, 1946, the son of Ethel Farris Goodman and the late James Wilbur Goodman.
On August 3, 1968, Mr. Goodman was united in marriage to the former Glona Johnson, who survives.
Mr. Goodman began working for Abbott Laboratories in 1968 as a salesperson in Jackson, Tennessee. His 39 year career included Account Executive, District Sales Manager, and Senior District Sales Manager. He retired in September 2007.
Mr. Goodman was a member of the First Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Jackson, Tennessee, and attended Hope Presbyterian Church in Cordova, Tennessee.
Mr. Goodman’s hobbies included hunting, fishing, and water activities on Pickwick Lake.
Mr. Goodman departed this life on Saturday, April 19, 2008 at Baptist Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee at the age of 61 years, 5 months, 18 days.
In addition to his wife of 40 years, Glona, and mother, Ethel, he is survived by his son, David Todd Goodman, O.D., and his wife Leah of Lexington, Tennessee; a sister, Camille Goodman of Louisville, Kentucky; his twin brother, Jim Goodman and wife Karen of Eads, Tennessee; an uncle, David Goodman of Memphis, Tennessee; his best friend and brother-in-law, Larry Bain of Savannah, Tennessee; 5 nieces and 8 nephews.

Max E. Dorsey

Mr. Dorsey died early Wednesday at Regional Hospital in Jackson. He was born January 7, 1938 in Iowa City, Iowa to the late Ira and Lula Fisher Dorsey. He served for a short period in the Navy. Mr. Dorsey retired from the Moline Police Dept. after over 20 years of service. He was a Mason, a member of First Christian Church in Moline, IL, and the American Legion. He loved fishing, bingo, and playing cards.

Mr. Lee died late Wednesday in Jackson. He was born December 28, 1939 in Wildersvile to the late W. A. and Sally Noe Lee. He served in the National Guard from 1963-1969, was a retired employee of Johnson Controls, and was a member of Broad Street Church of Christ.

FRED JOHN HERTEL
Mr. John Hertel died March 3rd in Kerrville, Texas at the age of 95.
He was born April 7, in Chicago, Illinois. In 1957, he moved to Lexington, Tennessee where he was co-founder and vice president of Panoply Corporation, a manufacturer of hardwood plywood. He was an avid outdoorsman and hunter. However, his passion was golf. He was a board member of the Tennessee Golf Association and also a member of the International Senior Amateur Association, and played in golf events all around the world. In 1959, he helped promote the founding of the Lexington Golf and Country Club. Upon retirement in 1977, he moved to Kerrville, Texas where he became a member at River Hill Country Club and next door neighbor and friend to golfing legend, Byron Nelson.
He is survived by his wife of 72 years, Ruth Hertel of Kerrville, Texas; a brother, Roger Hertel of Inverness, Florida; two daughters, Judy (Dick) Meyer of Lexington, TN and Jane Dallison of Langlois, Oregon; six grandchildren, Steve (Terri) Meyer of Lexington, TN, Suzanne (Moe) Click of Merryville, TN, Sherrill (John) Schaffer of Knoxville, TN, Marion (Bill) Moxley of Washington, DC, Justin (Luanne) Dallison of Monmouth, Oregon; and nine great-grandchildren, Megan, Rick, Molly, Colin, and Patton Meyer, Logan and Ryan Click, and Christopher and Cassie Kolls.

Funeral services for Mr. Zelmer Odean Anderson, age 84, were held Friday, February 15 in the chapel of Pafford Funeral Home with Dan Hughes officiating. Burial followed in Independence Cemetery.
Mr. Anderson died late Tuesday in Jackson. He was born April 23, 1923 in Carruthersville, Missouri to the late Zelmer Bryant and Dona Adams Anderson. He was a retired quality control analyst, employed with JohnsonControls for 27 years. He was a member of Juno Church of Christ, a long-time song leader at Independence Church of Christ, and served many years on the cemetery association at Independence. He love gospel music.
Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Mrs. Maxine Pendergrass Anderson; his son, Alan Odean (Peggy) Anderson; his daughter, Kay Anderson (Steve) Jackson, all of Lexington; and his only grandson, Ty Anderson Dyer, who filled Mr. Anderson’s life with joy and gave him a will to live.

Funeral services for James C. Hayes were Saturday, February 16, 2008, at Reed’s Chapel-Decaturville. Burial followed in Darden Cemetery.
Mr. Hayes, age 89, died Thursday, February 14, 2008 at Decatur Co. General Hospital. He was preceded in death by his father and mother, James Garfield and Clydie Mae (Davis) Hayes; his wife, Ruby Hayes.
Survivors include one sister, Fern Meadows of Memphis.

Charles Freddie Kizer
Funeral services for Charles Freddie Kizer, age 80, were held Thursday, February 14, at the Huntingdon Church of Christ with Chase Funeral Home in charge of the services. Internment was at the Kizer Cemetery in Wildersville, TN.
Mr. Kizer passed away at his home Tuesday evening after a long battle with pancreatic cancer. He was retired from Magnetek Industries in Lexington, Tennessee.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Mackey Ruth Cole.
Survivors include three children: Charles Andrew Kizer, Deborah Tucker, Alice Jean Chapman; six grandchildren; two great-granddaughters; two sisters, Ruth McDaniel of Lexington, TN and Mae Kizer of Wildersville, TN; and a brother, Robert Kizer of Wildersville, TN; his second wife, Janice Bartholomew-Kizer; four step-children: Sandy Boldreghini of Oakland, TN, Melody Haynes of Huntingdon, TN, Burt Bartholomew of McHenry, MS, and Brad Bartholomew of Huntingdon, TN; four step-grandchildren; and one step-great-grandchild.

DELBERT LEE McCAY
Funeral services for Delbert Lee McCay, age 66, will be Wed. Feb. 20 at 11 a.m. at Reeds Chapel with Bro. George Reed officiating. Burial will follow in the Nebo Cemetery with military honors.
Mr. McCay was a retired home builder and retired from the Tenn. National Guard.He died Sunday in Lexington.

Robbie Lee Wallace Swope
Robbie Lee Wallace Swope was born in Henderson County, TN where she lived for five years until the death of her father Emerson Etheridge Wallace. Then, she moved with her mother Lula Mae Hart Wallace and her brother Bud to Parsons, TN to live with her grandparents, Jim and Evalena Wallace Hart and her aunts and cousins: Mildred, Faye, Ruth, and Ruby Lee Hart, Kay McLemore, and Linda Townsend. An uncle “Spooky” Hart had recently been killed in an auto accident, and another uncle Ernest Hart had married and left home.
