SH Lions Split Games To Open The Season

The Lion’s baseball team split their first two games of the season. Rain shortened the Lions’ week down to two games, one against McKenzie and one against District 15-A rival Riverside. The Lions were able to defeat the Rebels of McKenzie by a large margin and fell to the Panthers by way of a walk off. The Lions were in Camden to take on the Rebels, last Thursday. The Lions took an early lead in the first. Evan Russell brought in Hunter Beecham from a sacrifice fly in the top of the first inning.
