Education Gives Inmates a Second Chance in Life

Inmates at the Hendeson County Criminal Justice Complex are getting a second chance through local and state programs designed to break the cycle and give them a feeling of self-worth.

The current program began three years ago under a grant from the Office of Criminal Justice. The Tennessee Department of Labor now provides specially designed computer tablets under project REAP, Reentry, Employment, Adult Education Program.
